# isNode

Checks if a rendered node is a standard DOM `Node`.

## Signatures

## Why

This excludes arrays and fragment-like Wire values before native node logic.

## Ownership and lifetime

The check borrows the candidate only long enough to read its native
`nodeType`; it neither inserts nor retains the Node.
